Quite an interesting and fun Little Game. There are a few points to look at -

The controls of the game are way too sensitive. Sometimes the player is just jumping to the third track on a single button click.
The pedestrians moving around are mixing up with the background and the road which makes it very harder to detect.
Chose a better color palette for your game.
The same goes for walls as well.
You can make this game interesting by adding certain powerups and other such interesting elements in this game.
Also, why not introduce some curved roads?

1. Thank you! I will try and tighten up the controls a bit.

2.-4. I should have made the walls a different color. Since the theme revolved around the original gameboy, I kinda wanted to stick to the original 4-color puke-green palette. I understand what you mean though.

5. I had plans for a gameboy power up that would allow you to shoot, but unfortunately my Cal II homework was merciless. I hope to add this after the jam :)

6. I actually did not think of this. I could probably use this in tandem with roads that cut off for a bit.
